In this particular instance, the woman was instrumental in securing a contract that the company had pursued unsuccessfully for three years. Her reward, however, was a distressing ordeal of sexual harassment, intimidation, and ultimately, termination.

Fortuitously, the contracting company recognized her absence from the team, proactively reached out, and subsequently hired her.

Regrettably, many other women facing similar circumstances are not afforded such a fortunate outcome.
