🚨 BREAKING NEWS:
Oyo Police Deny Schoolgirl Death Rumors in Abduction Case
The Oyo State Police Command has strongly rejected viral social media claims that abducted pupil Ahoro Esinele has died, describing the reports as “malicious falsehoods” that are harming ongoing rescue efforts.
The rumors emerged after the May 15 gunmen attack on three schools near Ogbomoso, where 32 people were abducted — including 18 young pupils, 7 secondary students, and 7 teachers.
While one teacher was beheaded and another killed during the attack, the police confirmed that no child deaths have been verified.
Joint security teams are still actively searching the forests for the safe recovery of the victims.
Parents and the public are urged to avoid spreading unverified information.
