I saw a video of Governor Seyi Makinde visiting former Minister of Power, Adelabu, to sympathize with him over his sister's kidnapping. But what immediately caught my attention wasn't the visit it was the mansion they were walking into.
At first, I wondered: Is this a private residence, a luxury hotel, or a wing of the National Assembly?
It also raises a question many Nigerians might be asking: before becoming Minister of Power, what exactly was Adelabu doing that enabled him to acquire such enormous wealth and property?
In a country where public office holders are constantly under scrutiny, questions like these are only natural.
