Every Nigerian is being told their share of the national debt is now ₦724,000. Whether you agree with that calculation or not, the bigger question is: what are we getting in return?

If government keeps borrowing, citizens deserve clear answers. Where is the money going? What projects are being funded? What measurable benefits should people be seeing in their daily lives?

Debt itself isn't the problem. Borrowing without transparency, accountability, and visible results is.

Nigerians have a right to demand responsible fiscal management and honest reporting on how public funds are used.
