God is holy, and He calls His children to reflect His nature. Holiness is not merely what we say; it is how we live. True righteousness is doing what is right in God's sight, even when no one is watching. A fish belongs in water, and a believer belongs in holiness. Light shines because it is its nature. In the same way, holiness should be the natural expression of a life that belongs to Christ. The Bible says, "Be ye holy; for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:16). It also says, "Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness" (Ephesians 4:24).
Holiness is not a burden; it is a badge of sonship. It is choosing purity over compromise, truth over deception, and obedience over convenience. Remember: God is more interested in your character than your comfort. The closer you walk with Him, the more His holiness will shine through you.
