Honourable Debo Ogundoyin, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly has called for calm in the State, requesting residents to be sensitive. He said the conditions being given to His Excellency, the Governor of Oyo State by the bandits is outregeous. The Governor was quoted as saying: "If it was you, will you negotiate with terrorists if they ask for money, weapons and concession of future laws of this land as part of their ransom..."- Exactly the same pattern they used against former President Goodluck Jonathan, to make him unpopular and clueless, then ousted him out of office very easily, when Boko Haram militant group abducted about 276 Chibok school girls from the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State in 2014, is exactly the same pattern they are now using in 2026 to make Pressident Tinubu unpopular and clueless, possibly to oust him out of office easily again. Under the ruling APC ruling government under President Tinubu, bandits have kidnapped 46 persons from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, and Yawota Baptist schools in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Southwest, Nigeria, including 7 teachers and 39 school children.
By the current rating today, there is kidnapping and killing of innocent Nigerians almost on every passing day in Nigeria, and sadly, the country is just moving on like nothing is happening. Yet, the Nigerian Army that is supposed to crush these Islamic elements are the ones preaching rehabilitation for the terrorists that have killed Army Generals, and terrorizing innocent civilians and the government. Instead of waiting to be consumed by the criminals, we are still waiting for this government to crush the terrorists
