Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, yesterday reaffirmed his administrationโs commitment to transparency, accountability and evidence based governance as he received a delegation from the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) team, led by Hon. Omowumi Ogunlola, Federal Commissioner representing Ekiti State, was in Abia to commence a nationwide data verification exercise aimed at updating the records and indices used in the sharing of revenue among the Federal Government, States and Local Government Areas.
Governor Otti assured the delegation of the full cooperation of the Abia State Government, revealing that relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies had already been directed to provide all necessary information and support to ensure a smooth and successful exercise.
