Speaking as a conflict reporter, D English Alhaji warned against using insecurity stories to gain attention online and stressed the dangers of spreading unverified information.

He said that after seeing several false reports circulating on social media, he reached out directly to some of those involved and urged them to take the posts down.

According to him, false reports can create fear and panic among people living in affected areas, and he encouraged everyone to verify information properly before sharing.
