Evil and suffering are the result of free will. Free will is an extension of love, and genuine love is a choice. If God created a world without free will, it is same as creating a world of robots, they will behave perfectly and autonomously, but programmed obedience does not portray love. The sufferings of this world shows us that God's love is genuine and in spite of our imperfections, he still chose to give us a way to salvation
