WHERE DID WE GO WRONG? QUESTION? QUESTIONS? QUESTIONS?

Once upon a time, Nigeria stood tall before the nations.

Our leaders spoke, and the world listened.
Our passport carried respect.
Our future inspired hope.
Our diversity was seen as strength.
Our destiny seemed limitless.

Today, we look around and ask ourselves:

What happened to the dreams of those who built this nation?
What happened to the vision, the sacrifice, the courage, and the patriotism that once defined us?

At what point did we exchange national purpose for personal gain?
When did service become self-service?

When did leadership become a competition for power instead of a commitment to people?

The painful truth is that a nation does not lose its way overnight. It happens one compromise at a time, one bad decision at a time, one generation at a time.

But if we were capable of greatness then, we are capable of greatness again.

Nigeria must retrace her steps.
We must return to the values that built nations: integrity, competence, accountability, excellence, sacrifice, and love for country.

The question is no longer whether Nigeria can rise again.

The question is:

Do we still possess the courage to become the nation our founding fathers believed we could be?

Where did we go wrong?

And more importantly...

When do we begin the journey back home?
