Nigeria's Insecurity Crisis Deepens – Oyo School Abductions Spark Nationwide Outrage.

It's been over 2 weeks since gunmen stormed schools in Oyo State's Oriire area, abducting dozens of young children (some as young as 2) and several teachers. One teacher reportedly lost his life.

Today, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) continues its indefinite strike, shutting down public schools while parents and citizens protest in Ibadan, Lagos, and other cities demanding immediate rescue of the victims.
