Nigerians seem to have very short memories. Peter Obi traveled to Egypt to study how the country transformed its electricity sector. When he returned, he explained how some of the strategies used in Egypt could be adapted to help solve Nigeria's power challenges.

He also spoke about how Nigeria's early leaders invested in critical infrastructure and emphasized the importance of long-term planning and financing for power generation. So why do some people claim that Peter Obi never explained how he intends to achieve the electricity targets he promised?

Whether one agrees with his proposals or not, he did present ideas and a framework for improving power generation. Sometimes, the problem is not a lack of information but a lack of public attention and memory.
