We need to start placing a demand for a task on the people with tools. If someone possesses tools but cannot point to the work those tools are accomplishing, then what is their essence?

Wealth is a tool. Influence is a tool. Position is a tool. Titles are tools. The real question is not what you have, but what you are building with what you have and who you are helping build in the process.

A hammer is not admired because it exists; it is valued because of what it constructs. In the same way, wealth that builds nothing, influences that uplifts no one, authority that solves no problems, and titles that serve no purpose are merely ornaments.

The tragedy of our age is that many celebrate the possession of tools while ignoring the task. We measure success by accumulation rather than contribution, by status rather than substance, by what a person owns rather than what they have created, improved, or left behind.

Ultimately, the value of any tool is found in its use. It is often the tool we do not use that we brag about, while the tool put to work quietly changes lives, builds institutions, creates opportunities, and leaves a legacy.

A society progresses when it stops asking, "What do you have?" and starts asking, "What are you doing with what you have?" That question places responsibility on wealth, influence, power, and privilege and turns them from symbols into instruments of service and nation-building.
