Self hate

We’re that generations of being told we’re less, fighting for small scraps, colorism, classism, tribalism, that stuff gets internalized. Then it comes out sideways and someone can’t punch “the system” so they punch the person next to them who looks like them.

there’s also black love on black. The aunty who teaches you how to draft that letter to your landlord. The friend who checks on your sobriety. The stranger who warns you about a scam. We just don’t post that as much, so it’s quieter.
