๐จ THIS IS NOT A DRILL. THIS IS NIGERIA'S REALITY. ๐จ
In some parts of Nigeria, children are terrified to go to school.
Not because of exams. Not because of bullies.
Because their friends who went to school never came back.
For three weeks now, children in Oyo State have been in the hands of ruthless bandits. Three weeks of sleepless nights. Three weeks of mothers crying themselves to sleep. Three weeks of fathers begging anyone who will listen.
While our children are dying... our leaders are planning the next election.
Let that sink in.
What is the future of our children?
What is the hope of their mothers?
What is the hope of their fathers?
A husband is on his knees, begging the Governor to rescue his wife the headmistress of the very school where the kidnapping took place. His desperate pleas echo through empty corridors of power. Seemingly unheard.
She didn't just teach. She nurtured young minds. She dedicated her life to building the next generation.
Now she's just another statistic in a horrifying surge of abductions.
Schools once beacons of hope now stand as stark reminders of vulnerability.
๐ Gates locked. ๐ญ Playgrounds silent. ๐ฐ Dreams shattered.
This isn't just a crisis. This is the slow death of an entire generation's future.
Countless children are being condemned to illiteracy and despair. The educational foundation of a nation is crumbling while those sworn to protect it look away.
How much more suffering?
How many more stolen futures?
How many more silent playgrounds?
Before decisive action is taken to dismantle these ruthless networks and restore peace, security, and hope to our land?
