British actor, DJ and producer Idris Elba was knighted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle, in recognition of both his acting career and philanthropic work supporting young people. He attended the ceremony with his wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba.

In 2022, Sir Idris founded the "Elba Hope Foundation", which supports community empowerment, education, youth advocacy and sustainable development.
