How can Nigeria have peace when so many people seem concerned only about their own immediate circumstances? When a tragedy happens in one state, it should concern the entire nation. If children are abducted in Oyo State, it is not just Oyo’s problem—it is a Nigerian problem.
Every Yoruba state, and indeed all Nigerians, should stand together and peacefully demand accountability and action from the government until the children are safely returned. The safety of our children must be a national priority, not a regional issue.
When citizens unite in peaceful advocacy, they send a strong message that insecurity anywhere in Nigeria affects everyone. Our voices are stronger when we speak as one nation.
