I have been wondering whether there is a specialized intelligence or cyber unit within agencies like the CIA that focuses on search and rescue operations and tracking criminals or terrorist activities online.
It also makes me wonder how terrorists and kidnappers are able to access internet services to upload devastated videos and communicate through platforms such as YouTube TikTok, Facebook and others.
With the advancement of technology, I would expect that skilled IT and cybersecurity professionals in Nigeria 🇳🇬 to help trace digital footprints, detect signals, and identify those responsible for such activities.
