When I tell religion bigots that government has more effect in our lives than God they think I don't know what I'm saying.

A 5 years old is in the bush today suffering while a a 40 years old is enjoying his life and you'll happily say God is protecting you. How selfish can you and your God be.

It's the government that's responsible for your security, and if they fail in that your city you're gone for good.
