🔵 Chelsea Shut the Door on Acheampong Exit as Alonso Plans for the Future

Chelsea have turned down several enquiries from clubs across Europe, including two approaches from Premier League sides, for highly-rated defender Josh Acheampong.

The 19-year-old is regarded as a key part of the club’s long-term project, with Chelsea and new head coach Xabi Alonso reportedly united in their decision to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

Seen as one of the club’s most promising young talents, Acheampong is considered untouchable as preparations begin for a new era under Alonso. The defender remains fully committed to Chelsea and is contracted with the Blues until 2029.
