#STATE OF THE NATION.
I watched a plenary session of the joint National Assembly where the Nigerian national anthem was rendered, a line struck something that made me question at what point did we derail as a nation. TO HAND DOWN TO OUR CHILDREN A BANNER WITHOUT STAIN, and to BUILD A NATION WHERE NO MAN IS OPPRESSED. This last line carries a message of tolerance, harmonious coexistence even in our diversity. Yet in reality, we live in fear. Nigeria is bleeding
