FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is urging Rivers people to reject ethnic and religious sentiments in politics and focus instead on competence and performance. Wike made the call during a luncheon organised by the Rainbow Coalition in Port Harcourt.
He argued that the ability to deliver development and improve the lives of the people should remain the major consideration in electing leaders. The former governor also warned against attempts to destabilise the state, insisting Rivers people would not allow anyone to undermine their collective interes
