THE LITTLE SEED SHALL COME WITH A GREAT HARVEST

TOPIC: THE POWER OF A LITTLE SEED

SCRIPTURE:

Mark 4:30-32 (KJV)

30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

REFLECTION:

One of the greatest mistakes people make is to despise small beginnings. God specializes in taking little things and producing great results. Throughout Scripture, God used a shepherd boy to defeat a giant, a little lad’s lunch to feed thousands, and a handful of disciples to shake the world with the Gospel. The power was never in the size of the beginning but in the hand of God upon it.

Jesus compared the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed. Though it begins as one of the smallest seeds, it grows into something large enough to provide shelter for many. This is God’s pattern. He often begins with a seed before releasing a harvest.

Your prayers may seem small, but they are seeds. Your giving may seem little, but it is a seed. Your service in the Kingdom may appear unnoticed, but it is a seed. Your obedience to God, your worship, your evangelism, and your acts of kindness are all seeds that Heaven records.

This month of Divine Visitation, God is breathing upon every good seed you have planted. What looked insignificant shall become significant. What appeared forgotten shall be remembered. What seemed delayed shall suddenly flourish. The little seed shall come with a great harvest.

MEDITATION:

God is causing every good seed in my life to grow and produce a harvest beyond my expectations.

CONFESSION OF FAITH & REALITY:

I declare that I shall not despise the day of small beginnings. Every seed I have sown in faith, prayer, obedience, service, worship, and giving is growing by the power of God. Divine visitation is causing my harvest to manifest. I am moving from seedtime into harvest time. I shall experience increase, expansion, fruitfulness, favor, and His Greater Glory in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

THREE SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, breathe upon every good seed I have planted and cause it to produce an abundant harvest in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power assigned to hinder my growth, progress, fruitfulness, and harvest, be destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.
3. O Lord, let my prayers, service, obedience, giving, and faithfulness attract divine remembrance and supernatural rewards in Jesus’ mighty name.

PERSONAL REQUEST:

Father, let every seed I have planted according to Your will become a testimony that glorifies Your name.
