Your Excellency President Tinubu, Opposition parties, independent candidates Inspector General of Police, Director General of DSS, Chairman of EFCC, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, 240 million Nigerians are writing to urgently appeal for the protection of Nigerian students and Nigerians who engage in peaceful protest, and to call for decisive action to rescue abducted Nigerian children who have remained in captivity for far too long while you sleep in your luxury homes

Credible reports confirm that student leaders in Ogun State, including the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun Joint Campus Committee, have announced peaceful protests over alleged harassment and intimidation. No Nigerian should ever be harmed, arrested, or silenced for exercising the constitutional right to peaceful assembly and demanding good governance.

Since 1999, Nigerians have repeatedly witnessed avoidable loss of life during peaceful demonstrations. This must not continue. The police, DSS, EFCC, military, and air force must prioritize the protection of 240 million Nigerians, not the suppression of their voices. Security agencies should focus their strength on defeating boko haram, bandits, and kidnappers, and on bringing back our missing children now 6/1/2026

It is deeply concerning that ministers are being sent to villages while many abducted Nigerians remain unrescued. Successive governments—past and present, ruling and opposition—have failed to protect the 240 million Nigerians who deserve safety, dignity, and justice for decades

We respectfully urge the following actions now 6/1/2026

Ensure that no peaceful Nigerian protester is harmed, arrested, or intimidated.

Direct all security agencies to wear body cameras for transparency and accountability.

Install CCTV cameras across the 36 states and 774 LGAs to strengthen public safety.

Intensify coordinated operations to rescue abducted Nigerians and dismantle terrorist networks now 6/1/2026

Nigeria belongs to all of us. Protecting peaceful Nigerians and rescuing our children must be the highest priority now stop the photo ops/lies/slogans
