Nigerian photographer, documentary and travel filmmaker Niyi Fagbemi shared his special short video about this year's Ojude Oba Festival ๐ณ๐ฌ
"One of my goals for this year was to tell the story of the Yoruba Aunties and Uncles of the Ojude Oba Festival which happens in a town in Ogun State, Nigeria called Ijebu Ode. The Ojude Oba Festival is a renowned cultural celebration that takes place in Ijebu-Ode, a historic city in Nigeria. This is an annual event held to honor the Oba, the traditional ruler of the Ijebu kingdom, and to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people.
Hope you really enjoyed this short but very rich piece about my Yoruba people!I will be posting a much longer video in a couple of days which would be a really informative travel guide for those who want to attend, participate or find out more about the Ojude Oba Festival."
Enjoy his short film! Which part was your favorite?.
