Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Inspector General of Police, Nigerian Police Force Leadership, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to express deep concern about the ongoing kidnappings and killings of Nigerian children since 1999, particularly at the hands of boko haram and other violent groups. The pain carried by families across our nation in the 36 states 774LGA is immeasurable, and it is essential that we renew our collective commitment to bringing every abducted child home safely now 6/1/2026
We respectfully urge the Presidency, the Nigerian Police Force, the DSS, the Military, the Air Force, and the EFCC to intensify coordinated efforts to rescue our missing children and to issue a firm warning to boko haram and all violent actors: Nigerian lives must not be taken. Our children deserve safety, dignity, and the right to grow up in peace.
Mr. President, your call for CCTV cameras across all 36 states and the 774 Local Government Areas is a critical step toward strengthening national security. We also support the requirement that police, DSS, military personnel, and EFCC officers wear body cameras to ensure transparency, accountability, and public trust.
Respectfully to my fellow Nigerians—240 million strong—we appeal for calm and restraint. We must not repay evil with evil. We must not attack foreigners living in Nigeria. If any foreign national commits a crime, Nigerians should record and upload evidence to the global internet and report it to the authorities. Violence or reprisals will only distract us from the urgent mission of rescuing our children and restoring peace in Nigeria now 6/1/2026
Let us stay focused on the real issues: bringing back our kidnapped children, addressing the root causes of boko haram, restoring security so farmers can return to their fields, and ensuring that every Nigerian child can attend school without fear.
Nigeria is strongest when united. Let us choose peace, vigilance, and collective responsibility.
