Respectfully is no universally agreed “best” president of Nigeria, but Umaru Musa Yar’Adua is widely regarded as one of the most honest and reform‑minded, though his achievements were limited by his short time in office.

Was Yar’Adua the best?
240 million Nigerians praise Umaru Musa Yar’Adua for qualities that were rare in Nigerian politics:
