The kidnapping of innocent school children in Oyo State is a national tragedy that should unite every Nigerian, regardless of political affiliation.

Among the victims are toddlers as young as three years old. These are not statistics. They are our children, our future, and our collective responsibility.

At a time like this, Nigerians expect one thing above all else: a coordinated and urgent rescue mission. This is not the moment for political grandstanding, protocol disputes, or competing narratives. Every action taken by the government at both the federal and state levels should be focused solely on bringing these children home safely.

Questions will naturally be asked when rescue efforts appear fragmented rather than united. The President and the Governor must put politics aside and work hand in hand. The lives of innocent children are far more important than political differences.

Every hour these children remain in captivity is an hour too long. Their frightened parents deserve answers. Their communities deserve hope. The nation deserves leadership that is united in purpose.

Bring back our children. Bring them back alive. Bring them back now.
