People love to say they have our back when things are good. But difficult moments reveal who truly means it and who was only speaking emotionally in the moment.
We expect people to save us sometimes, but everyone is busy fighting their own battles.
Depending too much on outside support is a quick way to get disappointed.
Real strength is realizing that even when support is missing, we still have to keep moving forward.
