Nigerian superstar Rema has revealed why he ended a past relationship that started great but turned sour and is currently taking a break from dating.

“My romantic relationship was beautiful but a little quite manipulative... Knowing the world puts so much pressure on me, but coming back home is where you want to feel relieved… but when you come back home, and you are getting more pressure, it’s a different story,” he said.

The singer revealed that he eventually reached a point where he felt he could not carry on the same way.

“For now, I’m done.” Rema concluded.
