Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern shared by millions of Nigerians regarding security, justice, accountability, and the urgent need for institutional reform. The issues raised here reflect the frustrations of Nigerians who want a safer, fairer, and more transparent Nigeria.

240 million Nigerians are questioning why agencies such as the DSS continue to operate alongside the police when their mandates appear to overlap. Nigerians are calling for a comprehensive review of the security architecture, including whether the DSS should be restructured or merged, and for a stronger, better‑equipped, and more accountable police force, military, and air force.

There is also a growing demand for urgent action to rescue missing children and victims of kidnapping. For decades, boko haram and other violent extremist groups have caused immense suffering. Nigerians want to see a coordinated national effort to bring every missing child home and to prevent further tragedies.

The justice system is another area of concern. 240 million Nigerians believe that Nigerian children, youths, graduates have been detained for years without trial/due process. Nigerians are calling for a nationwide audit in the 36 states 774 LGA of all detention facilities, the release of Nigerians held without evidence, and a complete reform of the prison system across all 36 states and 774 LGAs. We demand CCTV cameras in the 36 states 774LGA no country is perfect Nigeria can do better

To strengthen transparency and accountability, Nigerians are demanding the installation of CCTV cameras across the country and the use of body‑worn cameras by police, DSS, military, and air force personnel. These tools would help rebuild trust and reduce abuses.

240 million Nigerians also want the government to address the root causes of insecurity so that farmers can safely return to their land, children can attend school without fear, and Nigeria can become food‑secure again.

The story of Gospel, who went missing at age 14 in 2007 and was reportedly found 18 years later in a Port Harcourt prison, is a heartbreaking reminder of the failures in our system. No family should endure such pain. Cases like his must be fully investigated, and safeguards must be put in place to ensure this never happens again. That is why we demand CCTV cameras in the 36 states 774 LGA now 5/31/2026 cuz 240 million Nigerians do not trust the government both past/present cuz the system is corrupt no system is perfect Nigeria can do better if they are serious

Nigerians are asking for decisive leadership, meaningful reforms, and a renewed commitment to the oath taken to protect all 240 million Nigerians. We demand a Nigeria where security agencies serve Nigerians, where justice is fair, and where every Nigerians child can grow up safe.
