With Only 25% of Warri South-West Population, Itsekiris Don’t Deserve 7 Electoral Wards – Omare

The Itsekiri people ought to be happy and embrace the Supreme Court’s report just like the Ijaw people did. To some stakeholders, especially the Ijaw’s and Urhobos we expressed our approval of that report, especially with respect to the additional state constituencies that were created. We also accepted the electoral wards not necessarily because we are 100% satisfied but we believe that life is about sacrifice. For example in Warri South-West the Ijaw population is about 70% while Itsekiri is just 25% yet the Ijaws were given 13 electoral wards.
