My heart still bleeds. It feels as though I was in the theatre of war myself. I can hear the shells exploding; I can hear children crying and mothers sobbing over the deaths of their sons and husbands who fought against the Nigerian government.

To what end?

Yet, some remain unremorseful about the most unwarranted offensive ever sanctioned by unity beggars. I am certain that Biafra, the Land of the Rising Sun, will rise again.
