Two weeks is a long time in the life of a child.

While political conversations continue and preparations for future elections gather momentum, some families are still living a nightmare, waiting for their children to return home safely.

The true measure of leadership is not found in campaign speeches or political rallies. It is found in how quickly and effectively we respond when innocent citizens are in danger.

These children did nothing wrong. Their only “offence” was being born in a country where insecurity continues to threaten everyday life.

Nigeria must do better.

Until every child is safely reunited with their family, we must continue to lend our voices and demand action.

Bring the children home.
