Your self appointed class monitor is here again!
Light corresponds to Truth.
Light is the presence of visible (or detectable); darkness is simply the lack of it.
Light is the universe's messenger.
It travels farther than anything else, faster than anything else, and it arrives carrying information, the color of a star, the composition of a distant atmosphere, the age of a galaxy. In the same way, truth is not passive. It moves. It exposes. It crosses distances that darkness cannot. To know the truth is to be illuminated; to speak the truth is to become a source of light in a world that would rather stay comfortable in the dark.
Heat corresponds to Character.
Heat is the presence of thermal energy (molecular motion), and cold is simply the absence of heat.
Heat is energy in motion between temperatures and without it, nothing in the universe would work. No stars would fuse. No chemistry would occur. No life would stir. The universe runs on temperature gradients, on the restless flow of energy from hot to cold, on the productive tension between what is and what could be. In the same way, character is not the absence of pressure, it is what emerges because of it. The furnace does not destroy gold; it reveals it. Character is what remains when everything comfortable has been burned away.
Motion corresponds to Action.
Motion is the presence of change in position or state. Stagnation (or rest) is merely the absence of motion, not a thing in itself, but a lack of change.
At the quantum level, the subatomic level, the cellular level, the galactic level, everything moves. Stillness, in the physical universe, is not peace; it is death.
A particle that has stopped moving has reached absolute zero, the temperature at which all thermodynamic processes cease. Life is motion. Faith is motion. Love, at its core, is not a feeling
it is a direction, a movement toward another. To act is to prove you are alive.
