We suffer more from resisting times and seasons than from the pain it brings and while pain is valid, it was never meant to become our identity. I tell people this often: let pain run its course. Do not romanticize it, suppress it, or build a home inside it. Pain, when faced honestly, has a way of bringing clarity.
It reveals truths about ourselves, people, expectations, attachment, and growth but healing begins when we stop naming people as the source of our lives’ tragedies and start recognizing events for what they were: moments, seasons, experiences.
Not every painful chapter deserves a permanent villain. If we can learn to separate the lesson from the bitterness, then we can rise above the weight of what happened, heal with wisdom, and become without resentment.
