Terrorism is rising. Kidnapping is spreading. Innocent people are dying.
In moments like this, society naturally expects moral voices to speak truth, defend the weak and challenge failed leadership.
Sadly, some religious leaders appear more concerned about influence, access to power and financial comfort than the suffering of the people.
The pulpit was never meant to be a place of silence in the face of injustice.
A shepherd must not abandon the sheep while dining with wolves.
