Prof. Wole Soyinka has been mute on the situations of Nigeria. From the biting economy
down to Insecurity: killings and kidnapping everywhere including the barbaric one that happened in Oyo State that a teacher was beheaded on a live video.
He didn't use the Children's Day celebration to address the government of the day neither using today, May 29, marking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu three years in office to address the government like he used to do in the past governments.
Perhaps, he don't want to piss on his friendship with his best friend Tinubu. However, his friendship with Tinubu is more important than the situations Nigerians are facing.
