Your Excellencies, Esteemed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Oluremi Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are writing to you with deep respect but also with the urgency that the current situation demands. Nigerian children are being kidnapped, terrorized, and killed across the country in the 36 states 774 LGA, and this has continued for decades. Families are grieving, communities are living in fear, and the nation is losing its future everyday

Sir and Ma, we ask sincerely: how can any leader rest comfortably in Aso Rock—with security, electricity, and every basic necessity provided—while Nigerians children are held captive in the bush, exposed to rain, cold, hunger, and violence? These children are Nigerians you swore an oath to protect.

Since 1999, Nigerians have been living through repeated cycles of killings and abductions. Every administration has promised change, yet the violence continues. When Senate President Akpabio said the killings would stop in 2027, it raised painful questions. Does this mean the government has the power to stop the killings now but has chosen not to? Nigerians deserve clarity and immediate action.

The world is watching. The United States, the United Kingdom, and nearly 195 countries have monitored Nigeria’s security failures for decades. They see the pattern: politicians and their families living safely abroad while 240 million Nigerians suffer daily insecurity at home.

If Nigerian leaders continue to fail in their duty to protect Nigerians—especially children—international partners may be forced to act. Sanctions on individuals and families connected to corruption, negligence, or human rights abuses are becoming more common globally. No leader should wait for such measures before doing what is right.

Show the world that Nigeria values the lives of 240 million Nigerians

No slogans. No excuses. No delays. If any leader is unwilling or unable to protect Nigerian lives, then stepping aside is the honorable path. This is a humble request
