Nollywood Mourns as Veteran Actor and UNIZIK Lecturer Patrick Okoye D*es

Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran actor and lecturer, Patrick Okoye, popularly known as “Energy.”

According to the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), the actor passed away in the early hours of May 28, 2026.

Patrick Okoye was widely admired for his remarkable talent and memorable performances on screen. May his soul rest in peace.
