Itsekiri’s Have Established Dominion Over Warri Federal Constituency Above Any Other Tribe - Ariyo

Delta State is made up of 25 LGAs with 5 major ethnic groups. Delta Igbos control 9 LGAs, Urhobos control 8, Ijaws control 3, and Isokos control 2. The only 3 LGAs the Itsekiri control are Warri South, Warri South-West, and Warri North. While Urhobos keep their 8 LGAs peaceful and Ijaws keep their 3 LGAs peaceful, Warri South, Warri South-West, and Warri North are the only places the Itsekiri can call home - and they have done so for 500 years.
