No nation is free from insecurity. In Nigeria, we have reduced terrorism to isolated acts of kidnapping. The erosion of family values is fueling terrorism and kidnapping. As a people, we need to look inward and realise there are no shortcuts to making money. All those involved in these vices are chasing quick wealth. We also cannot rule out politics. Some of these events are planned to make the government look bad or ungovernable
