Seriously, what are your thoughts on the current state of insecurity? 🤔
It feels like every week brings another heartbreaking story. People are becoming more cautious. Parents worry when their children leave home. Families check in more often. Communities are becoming increasingly anxious.
While we pray for our leaders, security agencies, and our nation, I also wonder:
How can we be our brother’s keeper in our own little way?
Maybe it starts with:
• Checking in on neighbors, especially the elderly.
• Looking out for one another in our communities.
• Sharing verified information instead of spreading panic.
• Supporting families going through difficult times.
• Being more intentional about kindness, awareness, and vigilance.
• Teaching our children to care about people, not just themselves.
Sometimes being our brother’s keeper isn’t about doing something grand. It’s about refusing to become indifferent.
A phone call.
A ride home.
A welfare check.
A word of encouragement.
A helping hand.
Small acts of care can make a bigger difference than we realize.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
What is one practical way we can look out for one another and make our communities safer and stronger?
👇 Let’s talk.
