This is Kogi today. Yesterday it was Oyo. Before that, Borno, Benue, Katsina, Kano, and several other states across Nigeria.
If you still believe your state is immune or completely safe from insecurity, then we are not being honest with ourselves anymore.
The painful reality is that entire communities are being forced to leave their homes, families are being displaced, children are growing up in fear, and innocent citizens are losing their peace, properties, and sometimes their lives.
This is no longer a “their problem” situation.
It is a national concern.
It concerns every Nigerian.
Security should never be politicized or treated with silence until it reaches our own doorstep. What affects one state today can affect another tomorrow if urgent and sincere action is not taken.
We need:
* Stronger security measures
* Better intelligence gathering
* Unity among citizens
* Responsible leadership
* Community vigilance
* Support for displaced families
* Serious national conversations about security
A nation where people can no longer sleep peacefully in their own homes is a nation crying for urgent attention.
May God protect Nigeria and restore peace, safety, and stability across every community in the country.
Enough is enough.
