Today’s reality of our security system is painful to watch. Here we are seeing police officers pushing their operational vehicle on the road due to lack of proper support and resources. These are the same people entrusted with protecting lives and property, yet they are struggling with basic operational equipment.
This clearly shows how much our security sector has been neglected while many of our leaders remain more focused on politics than actual governance. Good governance should prioritize security, welfare, and functional institutions because a nation cannot progress when those responsible for maintaining law and order are left without adequate support.
Our security personnel deserve better equipment, better welfare, and better working conditions so they can effectively carry out their duties. This should be a wake-up call to those in authority that governance is beyond politics it is about providing practical solutions to the challenges affecting the people and institutions of the country.
