Astronomers just detected the first confirmed dark galaxy...! a massive cloud of hydrogen gas with almost no stars, 500 million light years away.
The object contains more dark matter than normal galaxies but has almost no visible light..
It could be a missing piece in how the first galaxies formed after the Big Bang.
