Changing The Narrative...na our only option and choice!

Dem say we no get brain...hear am for yourself in this 1968 interview.
Dem say we lazy, we useless, we no fit do anything for ourselves.

Today, some of us like Aliko Dangote, Oprah Winfrey and Rihanna,
makes us proud...to prove dem wrong.
and now the same people dey watch us build empires, drop hits, run businesses, and shake the world!

But abeg, make we no just dey celebrate the comeback.
Time don reach to change the narrative completely!
No more dey wait for them to write our story.
No more dey beg for space for their table.
No more dey explain ourselves like accused person for court.

We must build the future with our own hands!
Build am with fire, with brain, with sweat and with unity.

Turn our pain into power, our scars into stars.
From Lagos to Nairobi, Accra to Addis Ababa...

We must rise like lion wey just wake from long sleep!
Make we build schools wey go born geniuses,
Businesses wey go employ millions,
And a continent wey no go need anybody permission to shine.

The narrative must change!
And na only us fit change am.
No more talk talk.
Na action!
No more waiting.
Na building!

Africa, e don reach!
Make we write our own story with bold ink and hot pepper!
We no dey carry last again.

The future na our own, make we seize am now!
