Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, 240 million Nigerians are writing to respectfully request clear and verifiable information regarding the recently announced CNG Conversion and Training Centers, including the Abuja facility launched by NASENI and Portland Gas, as well as the Edo CNG Conversion Hub.

According to public reports, these initiatives were first announced by Arise News on 1 June 2024 at 11:04, and again on 27 May 2026 at 08:31. However, there has been no publicly confirmed start date for training, recruitment, or operational rollout.

240 million Nigerians deserve clarity. We urgently demand

A confirmed and official start date for training and operations.

The exact address and physical location of the Abuja training centre.

Confirmation of when the promised workforce—reportedly up to 240 million Nigerians—will begin to be hired.

Assurance that the process will not involve unnecessary online applications or interviews.

240 million Nigerians believe that only two documents should be required for participation:

A valid Nigerian ID

A valid Nigerian passport

We also request that all verified information be uploaded to the LekeeLekee app daily for transparency and accessibility.

The CNG initiative is important for Nigeria’s energy future, but repeated announcements without implementation create doubt and frustration. Nigerians are asking for action, not slogans.

We respectfully request your leadership in providing a clear, public, and accountable timeline.

Thank you for your attention.
