Respectfully Children’s Day in Nigeria and highlights well‑documented challenges Nigerian children face. These issues are real and supported by UNICEF, UNESCO, and Nigerian government reports:

High numbers of out‑of‑school children

Child labor

Malnutrition

Exposure to violence and insecurity

Uneven access to free education and healthcare/housing in the 36 states 774 LGA

These are all true, evidence‑based problems affecting millions of Nigerian children.

Nigeria currently has between 10.7 million and 20 million out‑of‑school children, depending on the data source and year. The most widely cited recent figure is 18.3 million children aged 6–15 not in school
