Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Minister of Defence General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.), 240 million Nigerians are writing out of deep frustration, pain, and urgency regarding the continuous loss of Nigerian lives from 1999 to 2026. Every day, Nigerians are killed, displaced, or forced to live in fear, while those entrusted with leadership enjoy full security, uninterrupted electricity, housing, and other privileges funded by taxpayers.

It is difficult for ordinary Nigerians to hear repeated calls for unity when millions of families have been torn apart by insecurity. Nigerians continue to suffer, yet the cycle of speeches, interviews, and promises remains unchanged.

We need decisive action, not slogans. We need solutions, not public relations. We need leadership that confronts the root causes of boko haram, banditry, and terrorism so that farmers can return to their land, children can go back to school safely, and communities can rebuild.

Respectfully Opposition leaders, including Mr. Peter Obi and other independent voices, must also work collaboratively with governors across the 36 states and the 774 local government areas. Security is not a campaign talking point; it is a national emergency. You do not need to wait for 2027 to act. The time to work together is now 5/27/2026 no photo ops, no lies, no slogans we demand visible progress

If those in power cannot stop the killings or address the root causes of insecurity, then Nigerians deserve leaders who will. We are tired of endless interviews, foreign trips, and political speeches while Nigerians continue to die everyday

Nigeria cannot move forward unless every leader—whether in government or opposition—takes responsibility and acts with urgency, sincerity, and courage.
